Hi all,
I'm a newbie to MT, I'm currently running MT4.2 and have installed the Template Installer plugin. I've downloaded Mid Century Template set from the MT website. I'm trying to install the template whilst logged into the Dashboard. I used Design -> Templates -> Install Templates choose MidCentury and I get an
Error reading template set at /home/content/a/c/h/acheton/html/sites/biggerjacket/plugins/TemplateInstaller/templatesets/MidCenturyTS-1.0 Error: File '/home/content/a/c/h/acheton/html/sites/biggerjacket/plugins/TemplateInstaller/templatesets/MidCenturyTS-1.0/config.yaml' does not exist at /home/content/a/c/h/acheton/html/sites/biggerjacket/plugins/TemplateInstaller/lib/TemplateInstaller/App/CMS.pm line 13.
I have unzipped the MidCentury template and uploaded it into the templateInstaller\template_sets directory. Does anyone know what might be going wrong?
thanks,
Paul

This template set doesn't get installed into the template installer folder. There are two folders in the zip file. mt-static and plugins.
The folder called MidCenturyTemplateSet in the plugins folder goes into the plugins folder in your mt install.
The folder called mid-century in the mt-static folder goes into the plugins folder in mt-static.
Thanks for the reply Toni. I've successfully carried out your instructions - however I can't work out how to apply this template to my blog. I've tried using the Design -> Templates and Design -> Styles sections but I can't work out how to do it! Any ideas? :)
it's not like that Paul, the template can only be applied by 'refreshing' your blog template. look at the link at bottom right of the screen while you on the template page. there should be a link called Refresh Template or something.. follow the wizard.. the mid-century is not like the default style bundled in mt4.
you can ask directly to the designer, www.jimramsey.net if you faced any other issue.. :)
