Blog page in the dashboard shows a 500 error

Installation of movable type
cgi files in cgi-bin folder named the right 755
Opened the dashboard
Created a website
Created a blog
Created several materials
Modified templates
Create their own template files
Then I go to the blog dashboard and displays a 500 error
What is the problem?

  • Hi Alexander,

    There are two possibilities.

    Either one of your .cgi files aren't set the 755 permission, or that your hosting server is killing the movable type admin script because of the lack of available memory.

    You may like to check the server logs for more details about the 500 error you're encountering.
