Hi Raffaele,
I would assume that you would like to order the custom fields in a custom order inside your "Edit Entry" movable type admin page.
If that is the case, then be aware that inside the "Edit Entry" movable type admin page, on the right sidebar, there is a link called "Display Options".
Click on "Display Options" and you would see all the movable type entry fields, including the custom ones.
There you could drag and drop each field until you reach the order that you expect. When you are ready click on the "OK" button and your preference for that very blog and user is going to be saved.
Be aware that this "display options" function is blog specific and user specific. So if you have multiple blogs you should do it for each and every blog. And if you have multiple users, you should also do it for each and every user which is also an author on your installation. You could do that by logging in to your movable type admin as each and every extra user.
Kind Regards,
Mihai Bocsaru

Hi Mihai,
don't work.
better describe the scenario
I have 1 blog and 1 user
I have categoryA with custom fields fielda, filedb, fieldc, fieldd, fielde, fieldf
then categoryB with custom fields fielda, fielde, fieldf
and categoryC with custom fields fielda, fieldc, fielde
I click categoryA and make:
Click on "Display Options" and you would see all the movable type entry fields, including the custom ones.
There you could drag and drop each field until you reach the order that you expect. When you are ready click on the "OK" button and your preference for that very blog and user is going to be saved.
Then I make this for CategoryB and CategoryC
but works well the last category (CategoryC).
I explained?
Hi Raffaele,
I'm afraid to say that there is no way for now to have a custom order per category or per entry, but for all categories or all entries.

In fact!
thanks anyway Mihai
You're welcome!
