Problems inporting entries from WordPress

I have been to my wordpress blog and downloaded the xml file and tired to import the entries into MT 5

I keep getting this line error

Importing entries into blog
Importing entries as user 'XXXX"


Undeclared prefix: atom at /home/content/37/8528637/html/cgi-bin/mt/extlib/XML/NamespaceSupport.pm line 298.

Could use some help please.

    Hi John,

    Your WP export .xml file contains two lines that you would have to remove before being able to correctly import those entries inside movable type.

    Those two lines are line 171 and line 172.

    Basically the ones starting with:

    <atom:link rel="search" type="application/opensearchdescription+xml"

    And with:

    <atom:link rel='hub'

    As soon as you edit your export file and remove those 2 lines, you would be able to import your entries.
