When I add a new top-level folder and click the add button it shows up in the list of folder, but when I click "Save Changes" I get the following unhelpful error:
Tried to update folder(25), but the object was not found.
any idea what is causing this error? I don't create too many folders so I'm not sure when this creeped in. I'm currently up-to-date with:
Movable Type Pro version 5.12 with: Community Pack 1.81, Professional Pack 1.61
Thanks

Hmmmm.
I deleted on old folder that wasn't being used and then I was able to add a new one.
Maybe there is an upper limit of 25 folders?
Hi Classen,
There shouldn't be any limit.
Try to create one more folder and see if you're still getting that error.
If you do, try to connect to your database with a db tool like phpmyadmin and run the CHECK TABLE command across all the tables and then the REPAIR TABLE one.
It might be that one or more tables (at least the one related to folder) is damaged.
Kind Regards,

I have the same problem. Recently installed Movable Type Pro version 5.13 with: Community Pack 1.82, Professional Pack 1.62. It was an upgrade from a formerly installed 5.12.
I created a new site and tried to add a new folder (first one). I get the following (german) message, which is the same as in the original post:
Konnte folder (4) nicht aktualisieren: Objekt nicht gefunden.
I tried a mysqlrepair, but everything is OK.
Do you have a clue?
It looks like this is a bug and so you may like to report it from http://bugs.movabletype.org/
Thanks,
