If I login to comment on my blogs, everything works beautifully. If I comment anonymously, I get an 500 error. If I "Publish mt.js", the error goes away but the next anonymous commenter gets it.
Not sure what's happening here but it is consistent across all three of the blogs I have open to comments.
Any ideas? I would love to just get my blogs to work properly and then just leave them alone again.

Also, when the anonymous comment system does work, I get the confirmation page but the index page does not get rebuilt and no email notification is sent.
Are you using CAPTCHA?
I suspect there is an permission error when trying to comment as an anonymously.
Also, what is the URL of your resource, where I could do some testing?

Where (during what process) are you getting that error?
It's in my activity logs. When someone makes an anonymous comment, the comment is posted to the entry but the main index does not rebuild. What I posted is the error message. I don't know what's causing it.
I will check it tomorrow for you, when I will look at your installation.
