I tried out Movable Type for the first time last night. I'm trying to get it to work on a Rackspace Cloud site. The default technology for this cloud site is ASP.NET, but CGI and PHP are enabled and I installed Movable Type in a sub-directory. I wanted to test out this configuration specifically because we need a blog solution for clients who have an ASP.NET website but want to add a blog, and we are unhappy with the current .net blog solutions and Wordpress fails in this environment.
You can see the installation at: http://www.manwaringweb.com/movable/
The installation was refreshingly easy. However, after doing some basic looking around I found that when in the administrative area on the following pages, the list of existing items never loads, I see two "Loading" indicators that just spin forever. I'm sure the error exists on other "manage" pages, but I stopped testing further when I discovered this problem.
- Manage Pages
- Manage Entries
- Manage Blogs
Any suggestions?
Thank you!

Are you using IE 9?
Try to play with the movable type admin using chrome or firefox and let me know if you keep having that problem.

I've tried Firefox 7.01 and Chrome 14.0.835.202 and I have the same issue in those browsers.
Can you provide me access to your MT Admin via email and I will check it for you on tomorrow afternoon?
You could find my email inside my website contact page.

I've emailed it over. Thank you!
Took a quick look just now. I have more time tomorrow to check it in detail.
Are you sure that you've uploaded the CGI part (excepting /mt-static/ and the /themes/ folders) in ASCII mode?
I used Filezilla and left it in auto mode. I could re-upload everything forcing it to use ascii if you believe that is the culprit.
Yes please, everything excepting /mt-static/ and /themes/
I deleted everything and started fresh, I forced Filezilla to use ASCII when uploading everything except the static and themes folders. I created a new page and the problem still exists. Any other ideas?
I have the same issue - I can create pages and entries and blogs but I can't "manage" them - constantly "loading".
Hullo? *bump*
Unfortunately apart from the installation not having been made properly, I won't suspect anything else.
