A new issue has cropped up for me. I created a new entry. As always I use a format of none. This entry, like my others has some html tags that I typed in. However unlike past entries, MT is converting the angle brackets around my html tags to the html ampersand codes. Older entries do not do this. I don't know how this started. There has probably been a minor upgrade a some point via Debian but not major version change.
Reported on Movable Type 4.3

You may like to play a bit with the text formatting options and see which one keeps the angle brackets as such.
I've used HTML coding across many projects on entries or pages.
Would advise you to try the "None" and the "Convert Line Breaks" text formatting options.
Kind Regards,

I am using None. Always have. It switched to CLB and back to None but the problem persists.
Which exact version are you using Neil? v4.37?
v4.35
Neil, I've checked this once again for you on movable type v4.37.
You may like to try out yourself at this demo website I've made available online: http://www.movabletypedemo.org/
Go to v4.x and then logic to one of those versions (open source, pro or enterprise) and do your testing.
I would be quite curious to hear which exact input you are providing and it doesn't work as intended.
I see now. The mistake is mine. I did not realize that there are frames. One frame has a hidden input that shows the code I was seeing. The other frame shows the correct html.
Alright Neil!
