I'll be the first to admit I'm clueless when it comes to Movable Type. Heck the whole fancy 'blog and publishing systems idea. I'm a sysadmin. Give me vi and the blink tag and I'm set. However, I've been assigned to a project to import a new blog. I thought I was making a lot of progress. I'm the most knowledgeable Moveable Type user which isn't saying much.
I've successfully installed Moveable Type:
* Movable Type version: 4.361
* Current working directory: /apps/websites/mt
When I try to restore it stop at the following message:
Restoring MT::ObjectScore records:
The following is in the apache error_log:
[Thu Aug 18 17:11:22 2011] [error] [client 10.12.1.111] Restoring MT::ObjectScore records:, referer: http://www.jefftest.com/cgi-bin/mt.cgi?__mode=start_restore

I've cranked up Moveable Types Debug Mode to 128 and yet the logs aren't even showing so I don't have anyplace else to turn.
So can someone help with one of these questions:
1. Why is restore stopping at MT::ObjectScore?
2. What can I do to get more logging so I can get more information to solve this problem on my own?
Reported on Movable Type 4.3

Are you saying that you've exported a blog and are trying to import it now to a different installation?
Have you tried to increase your server CGI execution time limit? Looking at the apache error log my understanding is that the mt.cgi script is timing out.

Mihai,
Thanks for your response and apologies for not responding sooner. My problem was resolved with some SELinux tuning. All is good now.
Thanks again for the response,
Jeff
