Registering template sets on MT 4.1 with custom fields

Good day everyone,

So I followed the documentation available on mt.org about creating MT Themes. I'm using the commercial package and i created custom fields. I tested my theme successfully on versions 4.2 and 4.3. But on 4.1, only the templates are created, not the custom fields.
Any idea ? I'm using the yaml version for creating the plugin.

Thanks for any clues / tips.

If it can help, I can release later ( after fixing it ) a dummy package :-)

There have been some changes to the custom fields setup over time and that might be the key why the custom fields don't work on your v4.1 installation.

I recall that from v4.21 handling custom fields has been changed a bit and custom fields with more than 100 rows were subject to data loss.

You may like to ingore MT v4.1 and warn that your theme is compatible with MT v4.2x and later.

I would say so and people are supposed to run a more decent version of the tool. Version v4.1 is kind of ancient.
