I've just had MT 5.02 upgraded to MT 5.12 by my hosting company, but the dashboard and various inputting pages are doubled up (i.e. overwritten/superimposed) so the links are difficult to see/use.
Is it possible that both (or more) versions of MT are both active at the same time? Thanks for any ideas.

You might be seeing the effects of an older stylesheet on the new interface. This is usually the cause when the dashboard looks weird after an upgrade, in my experience.
Can you ask them to check if they upgraded the 'mt-static' folder as well? Have them check mt-config.cgi for the location of the mt-static folder that is being used, and make sure that one is up to date.
Thanks. I think you're right. Anyway my hosting company have fixed it now. Do I have to re-install all my the plug ins now?
Hi Simon,
Yes, you should re-install all your plugins, assuming that when you've upgraded MT, you've replaced all the previous installation files with the files of the movable type v5.12 installation.

Thanks Mihai. It's all OK now — except for CKEditor.
I reinstalled this and it appears as installed in Tools/Plugins/Website Plugin Settings, however nothing is visible in the edit windows (except the 19-icon Rich Text editor). This is a bit of a pain because I am not good at editing in code and Rich Text gives me few options and it's also very buggy. Any ideas? Regards.
