no preview on after update of files

I uploaded the new version of MT which is version 5.x and after uploading it on the server, the page can no longer be viewed. Previously I have version 4.x, I followed the documentation on how to do an update/new installation. My mt-config.cgi is same as what I have previously.

    I wouldn't try "upgrading" MT4 to MT5. What for? MT4 is a stable, and very capable platform. I recommend hanging on to MT4 until the Melody fork comes out of beta.

    (Wow, the General Support forum is a freaking ghost town. Simple support questions languishing for days without answer. I really hope Melody blows some new life in this platform. http://openmelody.org/ )
