Slow Favorite Response

Hi,

I manage to get the favorite feature working using the community default js. However it takes up to 1.5 min for MT to reply that the vote has been registered and the span class changed from "scoring-pending" to "scoring-scored". However if I refresh the page before the class changes to "scoring-scored", I can see that the vote count is already incremented.

Does anyone know what could be the cause? Does having up to 70 000 posts possibly affect how fast the server reply?

    You'll have more success if you post this question on the MTOS-dev mailing listing since this question delves pretty deep into how MT's scoring system works behind the scenes. The mailing list is accessible on the main MT.org page under feedback.
