If you catch it fast enough - ping your site from Feedburner so it has the freshest info
My client wont like having to do that. Is there any other solution?
Outside of not posting something that you will soon delete - consider NOT using Feedburner for email syndication. Feedburner is great - and I use it for all RSS - but for email's I use AWeber (yes there is a cost - but sometimes you can't afford FREE).
Here's a great article about NOT using Feedburner for email syndication and better FeedBurner Alternatives:

Any one else have any other suggestions. Client does not want to move away from Feedburner.
Jim, I got MT-Notifer and worked for HOURS to get the subscribe loaded. (I got the open source to evaluate before purchasing.) Then when I finally got it working, the verify function doesn't work. It sends an email and asks the subscriber to click a link. It's a broken CGI link. I can't find AWeber for MT. Do you have a link?
