After reading today's post (http://www.movabletype.org/2010/07/action_streams_plugin_for_movable_type_5.html) about the compatibility with 5.02, I tried to install and set them up.
I think I have everything set up -- cron job, new blog for the action stream, the css template update, the widget codes, etc.
And I see that the action streams are appearing in the profile>action streams part of the backend (well, no facebook streams, but I'll figure that out later), but none of the new blog or widgets update with the new streams.
They will if I publish the site, but doesn't that sort of defeat the point of the action streams, to automatically import actions from outside of the blog?
How can I set up the action stream widgets to update when the action streams update?
Thanks for any help!

Oh... and I have selected the tools>plugins>settings checkbox that enables rebuilding.
Have you configured your templates to be published via publishing queue ?
You can configure it at each template's setting. Here is the documentation.
http://www.movabletype.org/documentation/administrator/publishing/publish-queue.html
Ok... I've done that (was not aware of the publish queue option, so I've applied to all templates), and now am encountering some other problems (probably not related).
I'm getting the following errors showing up in my activity log:
--
Could not fetch http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/mytwitterhandle.atom: 400 Bad Request
Could not fetch http://twitter.com/favorites/mytwitterhandle.atom: 400 Bad Request
--
both of those feeds are up and running (when I enter the url's manually into my browser). So, what can I do to get this working correctly, as this would be my "major" action stream?
