Recently, i had this error when I publish my entry. For a while, I had no problem with my blog until today. I never had this problem before. My installation was successful. Can anyone help me. This is the error I'm getting.
An error occurred publishing date-based archive 'Monthly20100201000000': Publish error in template 'Entry Listing': Error in <mtEntries> tag: Error in <mtInclude> tag: error in module Entry Summary: Publish error in template 'Entry Summary': Error in <mtInclude> tag: Can't find included template module 'Entry Metadata'
I'm not sure how to fix this or where to begin.

Does the template module 'Entry Metadata' exist? If not, create it. It can even be blank for now -- but start with that to see if the error message disappears.
HI elicash,
My Entry metadata exist actually and this how the code looks.

Eli's advice is the way to go for your issue.
It would be interesting to figure out why you've ended up with that "Entry Metadate" module deleted.
Maybe you've upgraded your blog from v4.x to v5.x and that template got somehow accidentally removed by the upgrade process?
Or you've just started with a new v5.x installation (no upgrade) and then you've got this issue.
Kind Regards,

HI Mihal,
My metadata entry actually exist.
I actually upgraded my blog V4.3 to V5 and I followed the upgrade instruction carefully. I just don't know if I missed something when I move some stuff from the old one.
Thanks.

I found the same report in MTOS-ML. Some action might trigger this error ?
Is there any change that you made on MT just before seeing this error ?

Thanks for the reply Jun. All I did was change add some line on my css on the addons and none other than that.

I got the same error when I tried to publish a professional blog under a classic website. Is your Movable Type instance in the same situation?
If so, changing the theme of the parent website to 'Professional Website' should fix the problem. In MT5, 'Professional Blog' theme works only under a blog using 'Professional Website' theme.
Hi Kelichi,
My blog was already under the professional blog. I tried changing the professional blog to different style and I'm style getting the same error.
This is the current error I'm getting now everytime I publish.
An error occurred publishing date-based archive 'Monthly20100201000000': Publish error in template 'Entry Listing': Error in <mtInclude> tag: error in module Footer: Publish error in template 'Footer': Error in <mtInclude> tag: error in module Sidebar: Publish error in template 'Sidebar': Error in <mtWidgetSet> tag:
I would guess that on your Sidebar template module you either have an error on the mt:WidgetSet tag, or that widgetset doesn't exist...
We found a bug maybe related to this error. When restoring a blog from the backup, "Template Backups" get rebuild which is not correct.
If this is your case, can you try to delete templates in "Template Backups" by clicking "Useful links" on "Manage Blog Templates" screen ?
This bug will be fixed by 5.02. FYI

au contraire fellow movable typians ;) my NEW install of MT 5.02 is still giving this error:
"..
Publish error in template 'Main Index': Error in <mtEntries> tag: Error in <mtInclude> tag: Error in module Entry Summary: Publish error in template 'Entry Summary': Error in <mtInclude> tag: Can't find included template module 'Entry Metadata'
..."
this is a new install of mt 502 where I imported the previous blog entries - MT 502 would NOT let me install from back up - as the nag screen indicated some sort of template incompatibilities ....
While attempting to migrate from Movable Type Pro version 4.34-en with: Community Pack 1.65, Professional Pack 1.31. - using Classic Blog theme on MT 502 seems to function WITHOUT error when implementing any of the Professional Styles, except: neither the banner image nor the top navigation are displayed.
When I select "Professional Blog theme" then attempt to implement any of the professional styles options I then get the error mentioned above and the application of professional styles fail.
Reapplying the Classic Blog Theme, and applying any of the Professional Styles all 'publish' without error - except the aforementioned non display of the banner image and top navigation...
hope my post helps ferret out some new info and doesn't just added to the noise =:o
The Professional Blog theme requires to be used in the website that the Professional Website theme is applied. The professional website and theme is sharing the common template modules for the banner image and the navigation.
