display registered users photo if they are logged in

I would like to display a user's photo (mt or facebook) if he/she is logged into our site - next to where I have the sign in area - where it says Hello LInda | Edit Profile | Sign Out

MT and facebook pix show up just fine in the comments section, but I would like them to show up at the top of our pages if they are logged into our site - huffingtonpost.com does this and i'd really like to add it to my site.

Does anybody know how to do this?
