Hello,
I searched for this but did not find any answer.
I am managing a blog with both pages and blog posts. The pages are used for long standalone posts that for certain reasons, we need to remain as Pages, but I was wondering if there is anyway to categorize them so that they appear in the category archive menu, [which is set somehow to look like a navigational tool bar rather than a an archival one]?
Thanks,
Rayan

Rayan,
it sounds like you're trying to accomplish a couple different things. You're...
Both of those things sound reasonable, but some of it isn't very clear. I'm happy to help you tackle each of those things. So… where specifically do you want to list your pages (do you have a url I can see?) and what do you mean by "category archive menu"?
Thanks for your reply, Pedro.
the blog I am managing can be found at http://blogs.trincoll.edu/sta
The category archive menu does look like a navigational toolbar on the right anyhow, but the problem is that it will only navigate you through blog posts and not pages. As you realize for example, there is a so far incomplete page called "Documentation" which you can access from the navigation bar, and under it you will find several links to pages.
I would like to tag these pages (for example tag one as "Video"), and then when I click on "Video" in the categories widget, I would like to make that page appear as well as the blog posts.
I hope I clarified things a bit :)
Ahh, that makes more sense. This is a bit more involved, yet totally possible. What the way to list out the associated pages is to edit your category entry listing, and find the right way/place to incorporate:
<mt:Pages>
Luckily it accepts all the same values and parameters that mt:Entries does, so it should easily incorporate.
