Reseting Admin Password in 3.2 with berkeley db Via FTP

Vote 0 Votes

(sorry, this is a repost, but my comment on the old one got listed as the post being answered)

Hello! I have an old 3.2 install of MT using berkeley DB , and it was recently moved from one server to another before the previous server died. However, I can no longer login with the admin or any other user. I have ftp access to the new server. Is there a straightforward way to reset the admin password so that I can get my site back?

 • There is not a straightforward way to get that, but as you might have discovered on this forum I specialize on recovering damaged installations/database and so I'm available to work on your project as a consultancy item.

If you need to share template code, replace all the "<" signs with "<" or use this utility.
