501 Method Not Implemented when click comment author's link

Vote 0 Votes

Hello,

I just upgraded to mtos 5.01 a few days ago, everything seems fine. But today when I click a comment author's link below an entry, I got 501 error as following:

GET to /mt/mt-comments.cgi not supported.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is there anything wrong? and what to do to fix it?

Thanks!!

 • Check your error_log, and see if it is referencing mod_security. If not, or if you do not have direct access to your error logs, ask your web hosting provider if they have modsecurity running, and if it might be generating some false positives on your MT install.

If you need to share template code, replace all the "<" signs with "<" or use this utility.
