Hi all,
I am very new to Movable Type and just installed it on my localhost and really lovin' the features.
Just a quick one: I have setup 5 new demo users for my new site and given then access to add content to the site via the "Create post" on the front page of my Movable Type site.
I have also created a "upload image" custom field and added that to the "Create post" page so my users can upload image with their posts, however when they upload images the images are uploaded to my site's root and not into a folder?!
Is there away I can create a new folder called "siteimages" and then whenever a user uploads images via the "Create post" link it goes into that folder?
Thanks for your time..
Peter

Hi, Peter,
Japanese MT engineer, cheebow, had developed a "uploaddir" plugin.
http://labs.m-logic.jp/cat2/uploaddir/
When you isntall it, you can indicate upload directories with each asset types ---images, music files, and so on.
In that page, you can find "zip" and "tar.gz" characters and you can download the plugin with clicking it.
It has English language file so I guess you can use it.
(I haven't test it with English environment)
Please check it out.
