$MT_HOME

Folks,

I am a newbie to Movable Type and still learning my way around. But I have a quick question: Does $MT_HOME mean the main folder (not web root) where Movable is installed?

    Yes. It's the folder that actually contains the CGI scripts, libraries, templates for the CMS, etc., not the folder in which that folder resides (/mt typically, not /cgi-bin/mt for example).
