A client has asked us to investigate Google Friend Connect and how it could integrate with MT.
I know we can enable login for registration via GFC. But has anyone had any experience working with GFC widgets and MT? For example, the 'Ratings and reviews' GFC widget?
Any experiences most welcome!

I thought I would share some more info on this as it is an interesting problem (to me at least!). I have a dev site set-up where I can test this all out.
On the dev site I can sign-in using my Google login. This signs me in for commenting, community blogging, forum posting etc. I am signing in using the MT comment framework.
However, when I place a google friend connect widget into the site I have to sign in again through the widget. It is not realising that I am already signed in using my google id.
I know this is because the sign in is through two different frameworks, even though the login is the same. What I am investigating now, is can we join the two together!

If I want to use some of the tools / features - comments as an example - how do I get all of my current comments into Google - I can't abandon 5 years of comments

Did either of you ever come up with a satisfactory solution in getting the Google Friend Connect to play nice with MT?
