Hi Erika,

FastSearch is now too difficult to implement, so I would strongly recommend you to use it as it is much better than the MT native search function.

If you cannot handle it, you could have a consultant like me implement it for you.

I installed it, Mihai, and it broke things like my Manage > Tags page, and the results were coming back inconsistently (breaking, not displaying all results despite my settings, etc.) It just seemed to be major bad news, so I think we'll install a Google search soon.

Alright, Google search is either bad or worse in terms of customization and usability, and incredibly time-consuming.

Has anyone successfully used FastSearch?

I implemented a "Google Search" to my MT's information website, "MTJ".

Advertising message will be displayed automatically in result page, but I think it is acceptable bounds.

Hi Nick,

That looks pretty good despite the Google styling. (The site I'm working on is a non-profit so ads aren't required.) It WORKS which is farther than I got. You used the Search Element option instead of the iFrame right?
