Entry/Page versions in MT5

Vote 0 Votes

As MT advertises itself to be more and more of a CMS, I was wondering if MT5 offers a way to edit an entry or page and save it as a draft without pulling down the current version. For instance, an editor might go in and make minor changes to a page but the edits need to be reviewed before it's posted. In MT4.X saving any edits will post it and update the live site. Will this change in MT5?

  • Hi Archie,
There was a plan to implement "Snapshot" feature that saves a draft into revision history without changing a published entry. But it requires more UI refinement and postponed to the future 5.x release. I heard this request frequently, please be patient for a while !

If you need to share template code, replace all the "<" signs with "<" or use this utility.
