Hi,
I have an MT instance that has two blogs. I want to be able to transfer a page creaeted in Blog A and put into Blog B without having to re-create that page in Blog B.
I tried using the Backup and Restore feature, but that resulted in creating a third blog.
Any ideas how I can make this work wihout having to manually create pages in the 2nd blog?
Thanks,
V

MultiBlog will publish Blog A inside Blog B.
Gautam Patel just did a long post about how (MTOtherBlog and MTMultiBlog: A Short Introduction); search Multiblog here for more.
No, I believe what vman is looking for is the transfer plugin that comes bundled with MTPro 4.3 (or maybe even earlier).
Go to Manage Entries in your control panel, checkmark the entry you want to transfer, click on "more actions" in the box above and hit Go. It takes you to a screen where you can select the target blog.
This only seems to work with entries, not pages.. When vman says "pages", I'm assuming he means entries. If not, the only option is to convert the page to an entry, transfer the entry, and then reconvert it back to a page.
There is a plugin from Mark Carey at mt-hacks.com that does this entry-page-entry conversion and does it superbly. Non-commercial version is free.
No such thing.
Transfer was a plugin that Ben did in 2005(pre-Pages) and then never touched again, which left it with issues like entries moved to blog B still being associated in the database with categories in blog A. It's never been part of the distribution.
Jay's updated it in the plugin repository some, but I can't comment on its current status. I don't know whether or not he fixed the category issue above, or anything else that might've been wrong with it.
