MT Pro Dashboard Widgets

I see that users of MT Pro have a "Select a Widget" drop-down on the right and left columns to add widgets such as "Most Popular Entries," etc.

This is great except that it doesn't work out of the box, nor can I find any documentation on these features.

Can someone direct me to more information on how to make these "value-added" features?
