Preview Entry doesn't show extended entry

Jim, the preview should display stuff based on your templates!

So, if your entry template for your first blog using Motion doesn't contain the mt:More tag, then it means that the preview function won't display it.

Just go and check out your "entry" archive template and make sure that you add mt:More to it ;)

I actually put in a support ticket at 6A (and forgot to update here).

It turns out the the template module "Single Entry" needs a little tweaking to show the mt:more when previewing your entries.

I changed 'archive_type' to 'archive_template' to get the desired effect I wanted.

I am having a similar problem as this...

I don't understand the solution posted in this thread. Here is my template code:

<mt:IfArchiveType type="individual">
						<p><$mt:EntryBody$></p>
					
					<mt:Else>
						
							<p><$mt:EntryExcerpt words="100"$></p>
							<p><a href="<$mt:EntryPermalink$>">Read more...</a></p>

				    </mt:IfArchiveType>		

When I do a preview I only see:

<p><$mt:EntryExcerpt words="100"$></p>
							<p><a href="<$mt:EntryPermalink$>">Read more...</a></p>

And the permalink is not clickable in preview which I would have assumed.

Any suggestions?
