I have a working MT website, but you like to set up another. I have read through the MT documentation, but it's not very clear. My current website is http://www.jayday.org/ and I have one weblog on it called "Jayday." Now I want a second blog called "maclean." I have no idea how to fill out the fields in the publishing page:
Weblog Name:
Name your weblog. The weblog name can be changed at any time. ?
Site URL:
Enter the URL of your public website. Do not include a filename (i.e. exclude index.html). Example: http://www.example.com/weblog/
Site root:
Enter the path where your main index file will be located. An absolute path (starting with '/') is preferred, but you can also use a path relative to the Movable Type directory. Example: /home/melody/public_html/weblog

Do you have a new domain por the maclean weblog? Or are you putting it inside the Jayday domain (ie. www.jayday.org/maclean/)
Hi, Mark. Thanks for noticing my post. The new weblog would be "inside" Jayday. So the full url would be http://www.jayday.org/maclean/ I have something posted there now, but I've done something so wrong that none of the texts of my postings are showing up. I'm sure I made some hideous mistake when filling out the parameters mentioned in my original posting.

What do you mean, none of your texts are showing up? Was the first post on /maclean/ supposed to have something more than a title in it?
Yes, Mike, the sole entry on http://www.jayday.org/maclean is missing its paragraph of copy. What's worse, my original blog, http://www.jayday.org/, which I've maintained for five years is suddenly showing NONE of its 968 enteries and looks like it is picking up some entries destines for http://www.jayday.org/maclean/
I'm sure I can get this back in working order if someone can answer the question in my original post.

Did you install the MultiBlog plugin for 3.X?
The missing Hello in http://www.jayday.org/maclean/ is a styling issue, the theme-earth theme is setting the text to white and the background to white for the body.
In addition to Rob's comment, I didn't notice that a single one of the individual archives was missing from your main blog, at least insofar as they were still there according to the valid permalinks.
