MT 4.3 Upgrade, New Action Streams Behaviour

Vote 0 Votes

I just upgraded to MT 4.3 which also upgraded Action Streams automagically behind the scenes. It appears that MT itself now creates an action stream whenever I create a new blog entry or someone comments on a blog entry. Is there any way to turn off this new behavior? Under "Other Profiles" I see all my other Action Streams but nothing MT related.

And on a related note, anytime someone comments on a blog entry, the corresponding action stream says "$blog_owner commented on $blog_entry" instead of the person who actually commented. Is this configurable or a bug?

 • Hacky workaround. I modified /plugins/CommunityActionStreams/config.yaml and commented out everything I didn't want to automatically publish. Still can't find anything in MT itself either in the community preferences or elsewhere to configure Community Action Streams.

If you need to share template code, replace all the "<" signs with "<" or use this utility.
