Installing a Plug-In

I have downloaded a plug-in. Im trying to follow the instructions, but perhaps Im doing something wrong:

It says:

"- Copy the contents of the folder to your MovableType/plugin directory. Make sure that the directory structure remains intact. (This is the standard plugin installation procedure)"

Do I just drag the folder called Notifixious with the .pl file into my mt-static/plugins folder?

    No, you would copy the folder called Notifixious with the Perl file in it to mt/plugins. If a plugin has data that needs to go in both locations, then the directory hierarchy you get when you unzip it should reflect that.
