How to disable login/registation to comment?

Kind of new...

It looks like you have to be a registred user to comment - how can I disbale this requiremnt and have anyone comment?

  • Preferences--> Comment.
    Check "Immediately approve comments from": Anyone

  • That seems to pertain to "approval" of comments and it is set to "Anyone". However, to comment the user needs to be a registred user and logged in...

  • I have dozens of blogs accepting unmoderated comments from anybody who'll make up a name and email address and fill in the Captcha. The Registration screen in Preferences reads, "Registration is currently disabled at the system level."
