Hi folks,
After upgrading to MT 4.25, I see that a feed has been automatically created for blog comments. (Mine is here: http://tinyurl.com/mog7ar) That's great, but I don't see the template for this feed among my other templates, and I haven't been able to find documentation. I really want to remove the admin functions listed in the feed before I publicize it. Any suggestions?
Thanks much,
J.

They're in the directory tmpl/feeds.
Thanks, though I don't know how to view that directory via the MT interface, and I don't have other access to the server. I guess I'll have to ask our admin.
Thanks,
J.
The comment activity feed you found isn't really for public consumption. It's supposed to be something that you, the author/admin, can use to help keep up with comments on your site.
What you really want to do is create/add a new template: http://www.movabletype.org/documentation/designer/creating-comment-feeds.html
Thanks, Dan. I've created a new template, but it's not updating as quickly as the existing comment feed. In fact, I'm not sure whether it's updating at all unless I rebuild all index pages. Do I need to do anything special to make it update?
Thanks,
J.
Ah--I think I've finally gotten it figured out: the newly created comments template *does* seem to be updating, but only when I approve/edit comments.
It's been hard to troubleshoot the process as I'm syndicating the feed via FeedBurner, and I haven't known whether delays were due to the template not updating, the FB feed being delayed, my news reader not forcing a refresh, or what. Now, though, things appear to be working. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks for the info,
J.
