Error when trying to upload image in entry

Vote 0 Votes

I get an odd error when I try to upload an image or anything to a new entry. I looked at the error log but nothing is showing. I haven't changed any of the settings since it was working, so I am not sure what the problem might be.

here is a screen shot of the error I get:

thank you.

  • Do the server logs say anything useful? How far along do you get in the upload process?

I am a little new at the back end of MT but I don't see anything wrong. For how far I get along in the upload process... I don't get anywhere... I just get the spinning dots for a couple seconds then the error that I showed in the screen shot...

Are there certain files that I should re-upload that won't effect the current content?

  • For "how far do you get" I meant walk me through things: does it timeout as soon as you pick "Upload File" from the Create menu? Or do you pick a file to upload, then it times out?

I don't get far at all... it never takes me to the next screen, its loads for a second with the spinning dotted wheel like it is thinking then it jumps the the error.

I click the upload file from the create menu and it brings up the box, but then after a couple seconds it just pulls up that error message, I am unable to do anything else.

Here is something that is weird that I tried... I changed the blog_site_path to public_html/blog_images (the folder where I put most of my images) and the image upload worked fine... but as you know it wouldn't update my main index... it put it in the index file in blog_images... but it is weird how changing that would allow me to upload images...

I am still getting this error and I tried to debug feature and it didn't show anything... has anyone had this problem before, it is really killing my site.

If you need to share template code, replace all the "<" signs with "<" or use this utility.
