Display logged in user's custom profile field outside of a profile page

For an Omniture integration, I need to grab a value from a custom profile field for the current logged in user on every page. Custom profile fields do not seem to be exposed through the user (u) object in the JS. Any suggestions?

    You're going to want to file that as a feature request. I would recommend not just filing the request, but also getting on the MTOS-dev mailing list and posting an email with a link to the FogBuz URL (movabletype.org/feedback.html to get started) of the request because there are a number of 6A employees who read and participate on that email list.
