Hi,
I just did an upgrade from 4.23 to 4.25. After that, the editor failes to load - I'm not able to edit or create new posts.
Firebug reports: title is null on line 464 title.focus(); in function init() (url: mt.cgi?__mode=view&_type=entry&blog_id=5)
What happened and what can I do to solve this?
Beside of that I have a problem sinde updating to 4.23 which also exists after upgrading to 4.25. When selected a blog I can only access the configure menus "general", "feedback" and "own fields" (note: translated from the German version). Are there permissions wrong? Setting them in MT didn't solve the problem yet, maybe I have to change things in the database?
Thanks,
matt
Reported on Movable Type 4.2

I just created a new database to test the functionality. They are also not working (both, the editor and the menus).
I saw that the menus are called "General", "Community" (from the dropdown "Community Settings") and "Custom Fields" within the "Preferences" menu (not "configure").
Try upoading a clean copy of mt-static. The editor and menus' behavior is mostly controlled by JavaScript
Hi Mike,
thanks for the hint, but it hasn't solved the problem. Yesterday I downgraded to 4.23 to write and edit my posts, but the menus are still inaccessible... As I only know the location of the latest version of MT I can only download a new copy of 4.25, so my mt-static is know from 4.25 but the code from 4.23. Where can I download older versions like 4.23 for testing?
Hm, to clarify that: the menus are shown and I can click on each, but when the page loads I get the content of the "General" menu from "Preferences". No Javascript error occurs.
Update the iMT plugin.
Thanks Su, that worked! Didn't know that it is outdated.
