Hello-
I'm getting this error when attempting to submit a comment and am at a loss for troubleshooting and resolving this.
I'm happy to provide the actual URLs outside of the forum via email or IM (I don't mean to be coy-- the site is a harm reduction site with adult content that's meant for a pretty narrow demographic)
I'm suspecting that my problems is because I'm calling up scripts across domains:
Some notes:
My mt install is here:
http://mt.domain.org
The blog where I'm having trouble is here:
http://test.domain.org/blog/
There are multiple blog installs at the domain test.domain.org.
All share the same HTML global head information, which calls up this javascript:
mt.domain.org/mt-static/mt.js (this script does not have any reference to "armor")
I've tried switching the javascript link in the head to the one that is generated into the root of the site (test.domain.org/mt.js with "armor") and the one at the root of the specific blog (test.domain.org/blog/mt.js also with "armor") but the result there is that 1. the add a comment box doesn't show up in the entry 2. it requests "sign in" and then hangs forever on "signing in". Because those versions of the script make the comments form seem funny, I have not yet tried using one of those to replace the script wholesale in the main installs mt-static folder.
Any advice or assistance is appreciated.
Thank you!

This has been resolved.
Hi Christine! I'm getting the same error - could you let me know how it's been resolved? Thanks!
It was a simple solution in my case (read: user error)--- I had a bad mapping to the mt.js file. Once I fixed that everything worked just fine.
There are a few other posts in the forum about this problem if you haven't found them yet-- in general the problem has to do with 1. Not invoking the root mt.js script and in some cases 2. having issues with the "armor". There are some detailed solutions in those posts, I believe.
Good luck!
where are those detailed posts christine?? I could use some now. have a similar problem and i'm trying to move the mt.js, redirect the mt-config.cgi and then rebuild, but rebuilding crashes b/c of some problem with the mt-config file.
Lee- I searched the forums with the error message and several posts came up with ideas/solutions. You shouldn't have trouble tracking them down by performing a search.
