Did a 'fresh' upgrade, in that I renamed my old install with a dot.bak extension and copied the 4.25 files in fresh, without any previous install underneath. Signed in, did the database upgrade, etc, all seemed to go well, and upon login it looks exactly the same. I don't see any Motion templates, and when trying to create a new blog the only options are 'Professional Website' and 'Classic Blog'. Also no community features are showing in the 'preferences' menu.
I downloaded a commercial license version of the product, so this isn't the open source. I should have the Motion files correct? That's my main reason for upgrading.
Thanks!

Reported on Movable Type 4.2
Just to clarify, my license is via the ProfNet, does that make a difference?

I noticed that the pronet download does not contain the motion plugin for some reason. The Free Pro Blogger download does.
That's not all that's wrong; turns out a bunch of other stuff is missing. Bug filed.
Illah: Grab a download from the mt.com site itself rather than your account for now.
Hmm, that sucks. Is there any compatibility issues with the free vs. commercial ProNet versions? Or are those issues just with Open Source vs. Commercial?
I had been wondering the same thing - contacted SixApart for the official 'word' and Motion is intentionally omitted from the Commercial Pro release. Not entirely sure why that is though.
There was a debate on this discussed on the Pro Net a couple of days ago (start by Su). David Jacobs said that the Sales team will work on streamlining this... Until then, the work around this is to just download 'Movable Type Pro' from movabletype.com.
