Changing Template Sets (inexperienced user question)

Vote 0 Votes

Hi,

I'm returning to MT from a long relationship with Another Well-Known Blogging Platform. When I moved from that platform to MT, I installed the Mid-Century template set and am using that for my blog, but would like to change to a different 'classic blog' template set.

Is there an easy way to do this without having to create a new blog and move my existing content to it?

Thanks for indulging my question.

 • What you need to do is go into Design->Templates and reinstall your templates. You should find an action for that on the right side of the template manager. It will, however, delete your existing templates. However, unless you have made changes to them, that won't be an issue.

 • Yeah, sounds right.

If you need to share template code, replace all the "<" signs with "<" or use this utility.
