Many publishing systems indicate in the equivalent of "Manage Entries" screen if a file is in use, some with the login of its current user.

Is there a way to graft that function onto MT?

Yeah. I may actually get around to doing this in the nearish future.

BTW, I don't know if you got the update, but I posted a new copy of the Google Translate plugin with Creole added to it. It's on my GitHub page.

Thanks, Mike. The Haiti project is about to start, so your timing is terrific.

And not overwriting each other would be great. There's now an elaborate system of mass emails, and saving the drafts once to set the basename, then adding notes that can be seen in Manage Entries and on opening an entry such as /ready and /working - name. These then that have to be removed before publishing. Bubble gum and paper clips!
