Is there a way to not only organize categories in the admin but also see the same results when published?

im using the “sort categories” plugin that fujimoto created (http://plugins.movabletype.org/sort-categories-and-folders/)….however…i know that the categories are nicely organized within the administrator end, but why cant this also take effect on the published site as well? instead its all categorized alphabetically….why cant i have those categories published in the same exact order i see when i’m in my admin?

perhaps its in the documentation on the movable type site, but i can’t find it..

help?

Trying doing a sort on "order_number." That is a new attribute that is added to the MT::Category object by the plugin.

Hello,

I want to reorder categories in a specific way, and not necessarily in the alphabetical way. Should I be looking in plugin page too? Is it safe to install plug in?

yes, it is safe...the "sort categories" plugin is a great plugin..having great results with it.
