I have recently started using Movable Type and am still learning about all its features. I am planning to use this as a blogging solution in one of our projects. Our SSO solution is JA-SIG CAS (version 3.1.1) (http://www.ja-sig.org/products/cas/). We are not Perl programmers here and hence developing a custom module for authentication with CAS is currently beyond us.
I hope this is understood in the right way. If someone can create such a module and wants to make it commercially available, we are willing to get into a licensing agreement. Please let me know if anyone is interested and we can take things further.

Our recommended SSO solution is also JA-SIG CAS, and web apps that are not "CAS-ified" are increasingly discouraged on campus. A CAS authentication module for MT would be most welcome. The fact that CAS is available for WordPress is making my job of justifying the cost of maintaining our MTE license much more difficult.
This would be especially welcome because the LDAP authentication mechanism in Movable Type Enterprise 4.23 is not compatible with the external authentication mechanisms (Open ID, Facebook Connect, Google) that are a large part of the community solution features of MTE/MTPro and Motion.
