signing in from the comment screen

I have just installed MT 4.21, and I can sign in ok. Hoever if a user wants to leave a comment, he clicks on "sign in" and sees a spinning graphic ad infinitum.

What should I check?

    If you can perform the same steps to login, I would say that it's probably a performance issue for that user. You might want to create a dummy account, assign it commenter privileges, and see if you can log into it from a comments section.
