You could apply for a SVN account for Movable Type Open Source. That way, you could contribute your localization efforts to the Movable Type team.

Actually it was no clear enough for me the stupid. I have subscribed to the translator mailing list but I have no clear idea of what to do next. Localization is not a big contribution I think, all I need to do is to translate english words into Russian. But I am not able to make it a sort of a plugin... I am not a coder whatsoever

I'd hazard to guess that they'd be thrilled if you offered to do a translation. You'll probably just need to dig through the template files for the CMS and such, and translate the display words there.
A localization into a language as big as Russian would actually be quite a contribution.
Yep, I signed up for the mailing list as written here http://www.movabletype.org/opensource/contributions.html and sent an email to the list asking for details of how do I make it technically.
Actually I can have a list of templates translated in 20 minutes - it won't take long. But I also guess that the dashboard and other stuff are supposed to be translated either. I guess there should be smth more complex then translated html codes of the default templates...
