[Action Stream] Steam stopped working

You need to edit /plugins/ActionStreams/lib/ActionStreams/Event/Steam.pm

The fix is to add "?tab=achievements" to the end of the url in line 54, so line 54 now reads:

    my $url = "http://steamcommunity.com/id/$ident/stats/$gamecode?tab=achievements";

Also, if you want to add Day of Defeat: Source to your list of games, add after line 24 the following:

'DOD:S' => 'Day of Defeat: Source',

I will try and contact Mark to get his plugin updated.

Also change line 30 to the following:

return MT->translate('[_1] won the <strong>[_2]</strong> achievement in <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/id/[_3]/stats/[_4]?tab=achievements">[_5]</a>',

Richard, if this is a bundled stream definition(I have no idea; don't use the thing.), could you report in the bug tracker instead?

Is the action Stream plugin now a fully fledged part of MT then?

No, we just use the bug tracker for some of our plugin projects too.

As I noted in the case, I added your changed Steam stream to trunk, so if you use the subversion version of the plugin it's now available, and it will be in the next packaged release of the plugin. Thanks, Richard!

I'm interested in poking around with this some more, specifically adding the achievement icon as a thumbnail.

Also there appears to be some mention of a "description" tag on a few of the streams, and was wondering how that can then be accessed via tags.

To get thumbnails in Steam actions add this to line 50 of steam.pm (it will only be line 50 on the update version)

            process 'img', 'thumbnail' => '@src';
