Plug-in not reviewed

Vote 0 Votes

I'm not sure where to address this, but maybe someone here can help me.

I submitted a new plug-in to the plug-ins directory about a week ago. The instructions for submitting plug-ins state that the plug-in will be reviewed and published within 24-48 hours, so it's a little overdue. I'm fearing that the registration may somehow have been lost (it's still "pending"), and I can't delete the submission and re-submit the plug-in.

Who should I contact to ask about the submission status?

  • No worries, mate. It's only been just over two months. SixApart ain't known for its response time. Anyhoo. Why don't you Trott over to the wiki and post it there?

BTW, I notice they have your Joomsayer and Curvaceous (beautiful work, chief!) and others at the plugin directory. Which plugin is still pending?

  • Which plugin is still pending?

  • Somehow I don't think Ole Wolf has been holding his breath for _two months_ ... he's probably migrated to Joomla, Drupal, EE, Nucleus or even -- the horror! the horror! -- Wordpress.

    Really.

  • I don't have any pending reviews, fortunately. The plug-in was reviewed shortly after I had contacted Six Apart, so the response time was considerably shorter than two months. It seemed to me that it was simply an error at the time, so there's no need to complain about Six Apart on this one. :)

I'm still a happy Movable Type user.

On the downside, none of my plug-ins are currently available at the moment, but that's partly my fault. My web provider upgraded their Ruby software, causing my plug-in releases to become unavailable as the file management software isn't compatible with the Ruby 2.1.
