I have a huge problem, and I have already advertised my blog page. I have a site hosted by Yahoo. They offer 2 blog options. At first I tried Wordpress. I put 1 blog in there and it worked fine...for a few hours. Then it went off line for 3 days, saying it was down for maintenance, not just my blog page, but the site itself. Then I deleted it all and tried Movable Type. It also worked fine for a few hours.
I put numerous blogs on there and there was even a comment from someone. Then it also went down. All my blogs are still there and the comment, on my editing page with Movable Type...however they are not on my page itself. My URL is http://www.reverendannie.net/blog1
Can someone please help? I am in dire straights as I have already advertised the page, as everything seemed to be working fine..as I said, for a few hours.sigh

I am sorry this topic has gone unanswered for so long. It has been very difficult for us to support the Yahoo Small Business offering of Movable Type. Technically, we do support it with a paid Yahoo Support contract (which you can purchase from Six Apart), but the community has its hands tied because precious few people have access to that system. Also the version they chose to make available to their customers is a non-standard MT install, which complicates support as well. It is sad to hear that they don't also support WordPress very well.
Would you like me to recommend a different host?
Hosting Matters is a great alternative. They have everything you need for a normal installation of Movable Type, and their service has been, in my experience, rock solid reliable.
