Got an error: MT.pm did not return a true value at lib/MT/Bootstrap.pm line 61.

I recently tried to upgrade to the newest version (4.1) of MTOS. Before attempting the upgrade my blog was working fine and I could access the admin and publish pages. After copying the files over I tried to visit my mt.cgi I'm receiving the following error:

Got an error: MT.pm did not return a true value at lib/MT/Bootstrap.pm line 61.

I get the same error if I try to go directly to the mt-upgrade.cgi script as well.

As anyone seen this before?
