Hi Byrne,
I can't find the licenses posted anywhere. Can you please help me? Are they published on the web somewhere? I have a few questions:
1) Is there a threshold after which a website becomes "commercial", or 10 bucks a month with Adsense already qualifies as "commercial"?
2) If you buy a license, are you free to use it for any number of blogs you wish, as long as only 5 people (5 logins) use the software?
3) Does one license give you the right to use the software on more than one domain name or not?
4) Does one license give you the right to use the software on more than one server or not? (say you already have more than one hosting)
Thanks a lot,
cheers,
Massimo

Here are the FAQs http://www.movabletype.com/download/faq.html
1) As I read it, the question is the intent of the blog. If it is part of a 'business' that is, you are using it to generate incoming, sell your services even if it is a sideline to any other employement you may have, then you need a commercial license.
If the blog is not to set up to generate business, but you have Google Ads, tip jar that sort of thing then it is non-commercial.
2) Yes. See the FAQ for a full definition of a user.
3) Pass, not covered in the FAQ.
4) Pass, not covered in the FAQ.
