I've installed the Action Streams plugin and was able to add profiles under the other profiles. However, when I click on Action Streams I get "no events could be found". Does anyone have a clue as to what could be the problem? Thank you.

So here's some more info in case someone can help.
The plugin appears to have installed properly. I am able to add new profiles under the "Other Profiles" when selecting a user name. However, when clicking on "Action Streams" the page only shows "No events could be found".
My crontab looks like: Movable Type's scheduled tasks script: 0,30 * * * * cd ./home/vs/www/cgi-bin/mt; perl ./tools/run-periodic-tasks
Any help on this greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Sorry about that. It didn't appear to be posting and then all 3 showed up.
Sorry to take so long to get back to you.
If you copied your crontab code verbatim, the dot in "cd ./home" shouldn't be there. It should probably be "cd /home" with no leading period.
When you add accounts that have streams, those accounts are immediately scanned and should have some items show up as soon as you click over. Not all the accounts you can enter have streams; some are only there so you can add them to the account list sidebar the plugin can provide.
If the plugin is able to scan but has an error collecting stream items, an error will appear in Movable Type's Activity Log. Click System Overview → Activity Log to see that.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
For now I can figure out the Action Streams plugin on a Windows XP machine located in Internet (externally), it works. However when I try to set up Action Steams plugin on a Linux machine located in a VPN (internally) it always fails, it can't get the action event, it can't show up actions! My VPN provides me an HTTPPROXY to access Internet. Can I and how should I configure an HTTPPROXY for my install located in an internal network? Many thanks in advance.
